What's new

What's wrong with Rudy?

gobert seems a step slow and his energy seems below his normal self, getting outrebounded by much smaller guys. rookie wall?

I've noticed it as well. The most obvious thing I've seen lately is that he isn't rotating to help on defense like he used to. I've seen a number of plays over the last 4 games where someone scores a layup and he doesn't even step toward the player. I'm sure it is a combination of things, but there is clearly something up.

Like no Kanter on the team perhaps?

He's fine.

My guess is fatigue from minutes, plus most of team is in vacation mode :)

Not like most of us haven't been there before.

Fun season, cannot wait for next year, expecting to make playoffs, maybe a 6 seed.

I do not think that Gobert is +30 minutes per game player on a play-off team. Playing to much on a regular basis, every night is just hurting his knees. Like I said, their is need for a real stretch 4, Like Patterson or Anderson to play 28 minutes a night, coming of the bench...

The guy goes for 15 and 15 and people are still talking about what's "wrong" with him. I guess it's a testament to his greatness.

his rotation is definitely slower in the paint, got beat by men who are laying up under him, something must be wrong with his ankle
