When Have the Jazz Last Had a Guy with 17 assists

Deron. March 31 2010. 19 assists in 32 minutes in a win against the Warriors.

On a related note, John had a game in 1989 where he had 27 assists in 36 minutes. That's three quarters of actual game time, folks! Took Skiles 44 minutes to dish out 30 in that record breaking effort in 1990.

Also, you gotta love manufactured records like Skiles'. Magic up 23 at the freaking half, he plays the whole 3rd and 4th quarter, as his teammates shoot as soon as they receive the ball to get him the record. The last assists comes with less than 30 second left, while up 37. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB_vcYPsXbY

While Larry Bird sits out the fourth quarter of a game in which he is one steal short of a quadruple double. Against our beloved Jazz, no less.

Eh, Skiles still did it. It aint that easy to get 30 assists or Paul, Deron wouldve done did that.

Didnt Deron have a 20/20 game though?

Context is everything. Deron and Paul don't play in 40-point blowouts. Also, the Nuggets allowed their opponents to score 131 PPG that year. Yeah, read the number again, it's not a typo.
