When will the media give Millsap a fair shake

If the Jazz make the playoffs then Millsap and the crew will get recognition. The season is young and I don't blame anyone for not giving a **** about the Jazz right now.

No love for Al or Millsap. What an insult! You know the all-star ballot sucks when Meta World Peace is on there and when Yao Ming made it a few years ago even when he was out for the season. I hope this motivates Al or Sap to whoop some serious *** against all these players.

Lamar Odom, MWP, Gallo and Duncan over Sap?? Id say Aldridge is roughly around the same tier as Millsap, with the rest being respectively ahead of him.

Seeing Perkins and DeAndre Jordan ahead of Jefferson is absolutely retarded, however. Al Jefferson is also having a much better season than Nene so far, statistically. Id say Bynum is #1, and its essentially a battle for second place between Gortat, Gasol, and Jefferson.

The All Star balloting is a complete joke. If Allen Iverson and Yao Ming came back and played one minute in one game they would be on the team.

What's not a joke is the Utah frontcourt. Al and Paul are carrying this team on their backs.

I think that the way Millsap is playing that the coaches have to put Millsap in. The way that he has played against Dirk/Griffin/Love. He's just tooo good not to make it. Even Jefferson has been putting up great #'s. If Utah is #2 in the West they have to have someone or 2 reps them.

The fan voting has been the biggest joke ever, especially since they allow China to vote, though that effect has been lessened since Yao is gone.

It's always all about the money..

In entertainment media shows what people want to see. Guys like Griffin are great players and highlight reel. They are fun to watch and they bring money. Actually Griffin is a brand now. For ESPN for example Griffin can bring more watchers and more money than Millsap at this moment. And it's not about Utah. Bring Griffin at Utah and ESPN will show Griffin anyway..

ps. i have nothing with Griffin, he's a great player..

I'm not so concerned about the media given Sap a break as the refs giving him a break. I've never seen a player get so hammered as Paul and not get calls. You get in the same zip code as Kobe and the whistle blows. Millsap gets a call when blood appears.

Media attention is a blessing and a curse.

As a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, losses are a lot harder when the entire country is rooting for your team to lose.
