1. Why does he struggle so much? Firstly he is a shoot first guy. Selfish. Someone pointed out in the game thread Trey left the game with a sulky expression while the young Jazz were celebrating their first road victory this season. You don't have to be the hero, Trey. Just be happy your team got the W. The Jazz are trying to play unselfish basketball this year and you need to adjust, make the extra pass, share the ball and so on. 2. He has a high b-ball IQ and killer instinct. I bet he'll learn eventually and be an active and consistent part of this team. Give him some more time. 3. Dante cannot start now. It'd a big risk to take. Wait until he gets stronger, has more experience.
If it is true that he was sulking last night instead of celebrating the win, that is the worst thing about him right now. That is unacceptable. Lets hope it was not as bad as it sounds.
I would like to think that Trey can play somewhat better and be at least semi-adequate until Dante is really ready to take over. I personally don't think that is until next year at the soonest. He is performing well but just not ready for big time minutes and responsibility.
