Where is the game thread for Minny?

That exact scenario is one of many reasons I don't ever bet on my own teams.
 
The rockets have a very similar schedule to the jazz.
3 or 4 tough games and 5 or so easy games.
They should be on a big win streak to close the year. [MENTION=1992]Indian[/MENTION]a

What a tight race. Should be allot of fun. By my predictions it going like this: Portland gets the 5th seed. Jazz and memphis tie and i dont know who would get the tiebreaker so jazz get 6th or 7th seed. Houston gets eight seed and dallas is out of the playoffs.

The Jazz would get the tiebreaker over Memphis. And would win a 3-way tie between themselves, Memphis, and Houston. :)

6th seed would be sweet.
I think we win two games against okc.

It's awesome that there is a chance for that 5th seed. I think we would actually have a chance of beating the clips in a 7 game series.

Gotta hope portland and memphis lose a bunch.
 
Scary thing about Portland is they could really **** us over in a tiebreaker, because we went 1-3 against them.

If we tied with MEM/HOU, we'd get the 6th seed. If Portland dropped into that tiebreaker, Portland would still finish 5th, but Houston would get 6th and we'd drop to 7th.

And that's why you need to win those games so that you don't get screwed by tiebreakers. Defense looks good enough to win 6 more games and get us to 42. That should be the minimum goal. I feel like the Jazz can potentially win out or close to it - depending on how the Warriors and Spurs approach those late-season games.

Would die laughing if the dubs chase that record and have a player get hurt enough to miss the playoffs and mess up their effort to repeat. Ive seen that happen in football several times.

The entertainment value as a result of this bet has been high and could get even higher. That's part of the fun. If the bet was made on a team you don't care about I don't think it would be nearly as entertaining.

Of course, all that said, I didn't make the bet either.
