Where will Trey Burke End Up

What do you think his trade value is? When Utah traded for Mack and Trey suddenly dropped to 3rd string, don't you think it's reasonable to believe that Utah tried to move him, and didn't because his value was such that they'd rather wait until the off-season and hope someone develops a need they didn't have at the deadline? I also think it's reasonable to believe if Utah could have gotten a late first in the draft, they would have jumped on it.

I'm betting when he's traded, Utah will get a 2nd round pick for him. That's where I see his value.

Not sure. Best case is probably a really late 1st depending on how free agency breaks. Jazz didn't do themselves any favors not playing Trey.

Just because a player isn't traded doesn't mean they lack value. Besides if I'm a GM interested in Burke I'm low balling Utah. DL has no leverage. The entire hoops world know his time in Utah is done.

It's been reported that they have been trying to trade Trey Burke since the 2015 draft. He has 0 value.

I don't know where he'll end up but Mr. Burke has been the consummate professional while on the Jazz. Even after getting demoted, he's been a professional. I hope he goes to a team where he'll be able to realize his potential.

I agree with the value... I've been arguing against the idea he will be bought out.

He wasn't traded because we got Mack on the day of the trade deadline and we were just barely above the salary floor. We also kept him because what if we sustained another injury.

We will trade him to someone with cap space for a second or to get off of Tibors contract.

I heard that DL was offered a lottery pick for him, but that he and Quin thought Trey was too important in his role as 3rd string PG to let go.
Lol

Ty Corbin has been added to the staff of the Suns. We should see if we can leverage at least something out of the Trey Burke love that Corbin has into some value.

This post is just conjuncture like all post pertaining to potential trades. We have don't know what DL is asking for or what other teams are willing to trade.
At this point if there was a trade out there, any trade, DL would take it. You really think he's been offered something and decided to hold out for more?

People always seem to forget that 30+ new players come into the league every year. They take an existing position and therefore some of the existing players lose value. Utah is not the only team that ends up holding assets that aren't worth much. Someone is going to give Trey another shot, but there is not a team out there that is worried about the possibility of missing out on him. If there was they would have been able to work something out.

The hell you say! There are 29 other teams out there lining up for an undersized (and by undersized I mean like undersized for badminton), slow, below average shooter, who doesn't pass, doesn't move the ball well, doesn't have a defensive presence, sits on the sidelines playing weird games with his tongue, kind of player. We just should have played him more so that other teams really really really knew who he was.
Maybe we didn't get him enough tongue time. That could have been our big mistake.

Sending out the dick pics was not too bright, but other than that he's been a class act. It must have been hard when things did not work out like he'd dreamed, but he always kept a positive attitude and appeared to be a good teammate. Much respect for that.

Again we don't know. Unlike some of you I'm not drawing conclusions based on things I simply am not aware of. So while it's safe to say he's not a highly valued player saying he has 0 trade appeal is something that's just speculation. Again it's a GM job to take advantage of other GM's. This whole process for the coming year is just getting started. Once free agency settles then whether or not Burke has any trade value will become certain.

If the Jazz had been legitimately trying to trade him since the 2015 draft, I highly doubt they would have picked up his option. Better to just let him hit free agency and get out from under his guaranteed contract.
