We have the best liquor laws in the country, I'll bet. And we have Trader Joe's.
On reflection, Iwouldn't be suprised if in Texas they let you take your gun in with you when you go to buy beer, then just drive off. That would make people say Texas is better, you betcha.
But I'll bet they don't have Trader Joe's, nossir.

Close to where I lived in SD (El Cajon) was a little shack divided into two stores, Liquor in the front, pistols in the rear. So I think CA still has the edge. I liked being able to buy liquor on a good sale at Albertson's. They'd often mark a 1.75l bottle down $6. I tried a lot of different spirits just picking stuff up that was on sale.
That reminds me of another joke about beer in Utah.
