...I don't get it. Taking Knight doesn't mean you lose Favors...

I'd rather have Knight/Hayward/Favors than Hayward/Favors/Kanter...

Favors/Kanter should be the best big men from the past two drafts, respectively.

Very solid and physical front court....unless it turns out that Kanter sucks at defense.

Watching the highlights of Kanter, he actually reminds me quite a bit of Favors, which I think is a good thing. I went with Favors/Kanter.

I'd rather have Rivers/Hayward and still get to keep Kanter/Favors

Not a joke at all, but what is it about Austin Rivers that makes you love his high school game so much? Honestly, have you seen him play, and if yes, how much?

Can you give us a breakdown of his game without pulling it from a draft site? No sarcasm intended or implied.

Do you understand what tandem means? He didn't say anything about losing Favors.

Rather have Knight/Favors than Kanter/Favors. Kanter has bust written all over him. He is extremely raw and doesn't finish hard at the basket. He's had comparisons with Okur. Jazz need a defensive strong center.

Kanter will spread the floor for favors just like memo did for boozer, but favors can play defense.

He's played several times on tv, the one game I fell in love with him is when he was on the U18 team and had 35 points against Canada. He's ranked as the top high school recruit this year and I believe most players that come from NBA pedigree usually do well and have great fundamentals. Nbadraft.net compares him to Steph Curry and when I watch him play I see it. In this evolving athletic PG league he will be a great fit. He's very athletic and I believe he should play the point in the NBA. Depending on how is freshman year goes and if he comes out he is slated to be around where the Warriors pick could be.

Favors / Kanter

I've seen Rivers play A LOT. A whole lot. Terrific scorer. Kobe-style w/o being Kobe. Meaning, no one tells this kid to share the ball ... and he doesn't. Scores a lot, but shoots even more.

Have you jokes learned nothing these playoffs?

You cannot teach size.

And you cannot have too much of it.

Keep Kanter. Hope Memo can give us something... Anything! Roll with Al, Favors, and maybe Millsap. Build the #1 frontline in the NBA. find guards sometime. But get big, tall, and strong!

Boston went into decline when they lost their bigs.
Memphis kicked *** because of them. Without Zach and Gasol, they're a bottom 5 team. Arthur also gave them very quality minutes. His length and quickness were huge.
Tyson Chandler and Haywood have transformed the mavs
And Udonis Haslem saved the Heat.
Lakers were swept because one of their bigs was going through rough times with their GF and played like Boozer.

Draft big folks. We can find guards anywhere and at anytime. You cannot find good bigs typically outside of the top 5 in the draft. And they typically demand a ton of money.

Yea he has always been the go to guy. It will be interesting to see how he does at Duke. He has shown great playmaking skills so now that he has lots of talent around him he will need to learn to share the ball more. Most high school kids coming in shoot way too much because they are that good, then they adjust in college. Hopefully this is the case with him.

True, though I take that into account. With Rivers I've seen a kid unwilling to be coached. Whining, griping, what else can I say ??
Hope somebody gets through cuz the kids got ALL the talent.
