Who could we trade for?

I am NOT saying he is good.. but DMiller was waived. I would urge the Jazz to give him a look for spot minutes.
he is good at 3's and d's..
 
Don't know a ton about faried, is he kind of a stretch four? I think the Jazz biggest needs are a good stretch four and a wing 3 and d guy.

I do not think hood will be a 3 and d guy. I don't think kanter will be a stretch four.

What do we have in our "keepers"?

Hayward - better than most thought he would be after that extension, but clearly will excel in a pippen role rather than a number one option.

Favors - is he good or not? Seems inconsistent to me, but there is the chance he will probably be an above above average big man with a good attitude for a long time.

Exum - he has been he potential to be the best on the team, and hopefull a star.

The rest of the guys are guys you don't think twice about trading, with the possible exception of gobert.

He's a... rich man's Trevor Booker(without the 3pt attempts)... He's definitely not a stretch 4. He's high energy, high motor PF with some hops... most effective around the rim. And he's better rebounder than Booker...

Fahried is Millsap before he got his ball/shooting skills. Fahried could develop them some day. Don't watch him enough to know the progress on those skills.

Couldn't be worse than Jingles or Hood IMO. As I've started this whole season (a month now), the Jazz really need a 3 and D guy. Miller fits that potential much more than Hood and Jingles.

Miller could be worse. Look at his stats for New Orleans. Also consider New Orleans desperately needs a 3&D guy also, or anyone who can play on the wing at all.

That's kind of what I thought, but like I said, I haven't seen enough of him. Let's just trade kanter and Burke for millsap, then find a shooting guard who can play 3 and d.
 
I like the idea of Barnes the best actually. Not a huge fan of his, but his game would fit well alongside Hayward IMO. Just don't think GS would give him up for any of our players.
