Ace, but not by much. At this point I just want the Jazz to roll the dice on upside, and he has the most.

I'm not down on VJ like others are. Dude is extremely athletic and from all accounts has a great work ethic. That's usually a recipe for success in the NBA. And Tre seems like the safest pick that has a high floor, so if he's left at #5 he'd be fine too.

That said, the Jazz are most likely going to get who's left of the 3, so I'll convince myself to be pretty happy with any of them.

I think vj is going to be a good player but I think he’s 3 and D. Will rely on other players to hit him for open shots but he’ll be able to take advantage of close outs and pack it at the rim. That’s a pretty good player but would prefer a shot at a star.

Tony Jones did a radio interview this week with Spence Checketts where he said he thinks Philly will take Edgecombe if they keep the pick. He thinks Charlotte will then pick between Johnson and Knueppel at #4. Then he thinks the Jazz will likely take Ace at #5 (although maybe Johnson also gets to 5).
That would really be wild if we ended up having to chose between Ace and Tre. Lol

It would be something if he ends up dropping like Cam Whitmore a couple of years ago.
I know Cam is a weirdo who doesn't pass but the idea that passing on him yielded us some other great player in two attempts is flat-out incorrect.

If that's where this is headed, sus it out and zero-in on where you can trade down to maximize value. A relatively humbled Ace Bailey sounds like the best version of Ace Bailey.

I’m using my old measurement of #hunger to evaluate players this year.

Tre seems to have the most #hunger out of the 3.

VJ is really hard to read.

Ace seems to have the least.. just seemed too nonchalant to me.

I’m going with Tre.
You do realize that "#" is not a letter, right? Are you trying to say "chunger" or something?

Ahh..… i see … you’re from a different generation.
So are you. Just because you date a 12 year old doesn't make you one! You are closer to me in age than to the generation that uses hashtags. And besides, it's literally a member of my generation that invented the hashtag for use like this.

I went with Ace as I really liked him earlier in the season. I think he's the safest bet. We know he can defend and I think he'll be a solid scorer. He seems like a grounded guy as well.

The fact all three guys have a decent amount of votes is good - unless Ainge does something shocking one will be there at 5.

Grounded?

You must not have seen his latest combine interview… lol..

Ya I feel pretty good about the 5th pick at this point.
