Who is to blame for the Jazz lack of Championship fever???

Lack of championship fever is exactly why the Jazz signed Boozer and Memo and traded up to get Deron.
1. I blame the Spurs and Lakers for being just too damn good. Just couldn't get past them in those playoffs we went to.
2. Let's also blame Derek Fisher's daughter. Fish hit a big shot for us in the playoffs, then had to leave to be closer to his daughter's doctor. Had he returned, Jazz may have won the championship,
3. Finally, blame Father Time. Never should have tried to rebuild. Malone and Stockton were perfect specimens who should have played into their 50's.

1) League was overwhelmed by hip hopper types and we never kept up! Tried to win with the "team concept" and our guys just wouldn't buy into it. Never had enough "athletic ability" to overcome the lack of brains on our team.

2) Drafted players that couldn't shoot straight....or hit the broad side of barn....even when wide open. When we had some decent shooters.....we traded them or let them fly the coop!

3) Hired Corbin as coach....and he was clueless in Seattle (I mean Utah!) when it came to strategy, substitutions, and player development!

4) Gave out bogus contracts to dummies who should have been playing for the minimum!

5) Should have refused to sign the "collective bargaining agreement" until the players completely caved in and the owners got EVERYTHING they wanted in the first place!

Nevermind. Misread the title. Thought it said "ever" not "fever".

Championship fever would require at least a possibility of contending for a championship. Jazz aren't even back to a playoff team in the West, much less a true contender. I don't know if they can build one with the pieces they have yet, but I really think that getting Exum was a step in that direction. They need more players like him before anyone gets too excited.

....I'm reporting you neck to the mods for obscene language disguised by hip hop metaphors!
but you are wrong!
Pistons 2004 experience proves you wrong.
team concept wins in NBA.
San Antonio Spurs prove you wrong, too.

I despise that ballhog me-first mentality, just like you BTW.
