Who should be our starting SF?

Probably Millsap, even though I like him way better than Jefferson. Jefferson can play center which is a nice luxury. Without him Kanter would be forced to start, with only Fess backing him up (assuming Okur isn't healthy).

Seriously? You'd rather start a guy that absolutely cannot play the 3 for the best SF we've had in the last 20+ years? Even WITH the contract and injuries, this is laughable at best. Ever heard of free agency? Did you also know that we have a more than capable (albeit young, and still learning) player on the bench that can play BOTH wing positions in Hayward? Sure, Sap can hit some jumpers, but he's nowhere near a consistent shot from 3 and once he doesn't have the luxury of drawing being guarded by post players and actually has to face perimeter defenders on a play to play basis, he's going to just as much of a liability as AK (shotwise) from the outside. I love Paul, but by putting him at the SF position, you're taking away his strengths and effectiveness on offense and putting him in a no-win position on defense, which is neither productive for himself or the team. I'll GLADLY take Hayward, CJ, and Burks playing the wing positions over Sap until we decide who the long term solution is there.

You make too much sense for this board. Also I laugh everytime I read your sig.

Anyone have the stats on when Millsap played the 3 last season?

i dont know about the stats but im sure, he shouldnt play 3 unless first 2 or even 3 candidates for that position are injured. He is born to be a PF, when he plays 3 he just cant use some of his abilities which make him a very good player. Even if he is raining 3s next year, he wouldnt play that position.

I thought he was kind of short.

Charlie Murphy has endorsed Prince's skills...

Ugh endless trade ideas....so I wonder how are even close to what the Jazz would do? I mean how many people predicted the D-will trade?

Harris
Burks
Hayward
Favors
Kanter

This is our line up for the future.. Let them start playing together now. I can see favors and burks as all stars but we don't have a super star so therefore we need to play as a team. That takes years. We need to be like how the pistonsplayed, they didn't have super stars but they knew how to play with each other

Don't think Hayward can play the 3, just not big and strong enough. Carmelo, Durant, Lebron, etc would chew him up and spit him out on a nightly basis. We'll have to find this player in next years draft or possibly though a trade. Ultimately that means either Hayward or Burks will have to be relegated to a 6th man role, still getting about 30 minutes a game though.

Just as many tough assignments for Hayward at the 2 as the 3. And he's far more likely to get stronger rather than quicker. Hayward's 'position' as far as who he guards has yet to be sorted out.
