Who Will Be on the Roster Opening Night?

"Coach on the floor" (hood put it well in his locker room cleanout talk) Slow Mo Joe will be the first FA the front office speaks to the second FA opens- they will lock him up
Exum already here and bring over Motum (Motum signed a non binding contract beyond this seasons NBL contract so he's ready in waiting)- Ingles will be staying put

Jazz trade away their draft pick and Burke.
 
I don't know who will or will not be on the roster but if Booker is not sitting on that Jazz bench at the beginning of the season, I'll be pissed.

Even more annoyed than I was with Carroll not coming back.

Which is one reason I want Carroll back. He brings that same hustle, attitude and fight that Booker does. Plus he is a hard worker and good locker room guy. Just imagine the aggressive craziness of this line up on the floor:

A lot of who will be back depends on whether or not we make a trade that brings a 10-12M contract in or sign somebody in free agency for 12+M. If we do, that almost certainly means Booker and most non-guaranteed contracts + Jerrett are gone.

Then we sign someone Bookeresque style that will fill any void we feel we have left.

While I would absolutely love to get Carroll back, do you think he would leave a starting position behind in Atlanta to come back to the Jazz where he's by no means guaranteed a starting position? Plus, if we bring him back and start him, Hood drops to 15-20 minutes a game.

I just don't see Carroll leaving the situation he's in right now--unless Jazz offer him a butt load of more money, which I doubt they'll do.

Stranger things have happened, I suppose.

Carroll is the one guy I'd really want. But just not sure it works in terms of having enough minutes. DMC and Hayward start, but do Burks and Hood then only get 15 minutes each? Also not sure Utah could fit DMC under the cap AND bring over Tomic without declining the option on Booker
