Who will be our opening night starting lineup?

There is a difference between who should start and who will start, especially start of season (i'm assuming we mean actual season and not preseason).

I'm guessing it will be skewed towards vets. I have Keyonte Flip and Brice. End of season it'll be Flip Ace and either Keyonte or Walt. Hendricks remains a wild card -- if he does really well, and if Flip does really well, I think it makes Lauri a stronger trade candidate. If Walt explodes then Keyonte will come off the bench. If Cody pops off he may go to SG and move Ace to SF, and Hendricks to the bench. It'll be a fun season.

I think Hardy is pretty entrenched, at least for now, in keeping Brice as the defacto scoring 6th man

I think so too. In that case my hope is that the ascendance of Hendricks or Bailey pushes Svi to the bench.

There is like zero playmaking in this lineup other than Collier, lol.

Every Ace-Hendricks-Lauri-Kessler lineup runs into the issue that none of these guys can dribble or pass yet.

I would think Filipowski obviously starts over Hendricks just for that reason alone.

So I would go with

Key
Ace
Markkanen
Filipowski
Kessler

But we'll have like 15-20 starting lineups this year.

FWIW, I think that if Ace was healthy this would have been the starting lineup. I guess we'll find out on Friday.

There's no reason for Ace to start at this point. He's raw as hell.
