Seriously I truly hope your right. Jazz are looking like a low 90's ppg team. 10+ would be great, just not sure yet.

I agree.. we will struggle to average more than about 92'ish..... give or take 20.

^sig that if you wanna

My fear is that Burke and Burks will both shoot around 40% from the field

Small rook pg shooting 40% doesn't concern me one bit. D-will shot under 43% but with a killer 3 point % of 41 or something.

Burks gets to the line enough to shoot higher than 40%. He also doesn't have the Chucker leash to go Monta on us.

Scoring from the big 5. Scoring alone, mind you:

Trey - 6-9 ppg
Alec - 9-12 ppg
Hayward - 17-19 ppg
Kanter - 13-15 ppg
Favors - 8-14 ppg
.

Weak sauce. You have Favors low end below his 9.4 in his 23mpg. His absolute basement is 11.5 getting minutes, and that's all on garbage cleanup duty. Give him 3-4 looks per game and he's easily at the top end of your range.

I hope he is, I hope they are all on the top end of my range. Something that hasn't been mentioned much is that these guys haven't been playing huge minutes against starting units in the league. This will make a dent in overall performance initially, and drive them to improve more quickly, but it will still have an impact at least in the short term. The only one with significant minutes being defended by first-teams is Hayward. The others have been backups and playing against backups. Significantly easier in most cases. We are due for a rude awakening at first. I hope they overcome quickly, but I could see each one being on the low end due to the first-team defensive pressure they haven't really faced before.

See analysis goes deeper than just MPG and last years stats. Weak sauce indeed.

even after last night..... I still say kanter

I voted Burks.

Although I could see any of the core4 doing it.

I wish thread makers would make polls public.

Burks came in second. Hayward was first.

Those who picked Hayward claim your prize.

I think if Burks would have gotten more time he would have lead the team.
