I'm not freaking out.. just damn happy we have a competent FO that has been and will continue to make power moves to make the Jazz a contender.. I truly believe that.

I think that Lindsey is cleaning up about 3 years of some serious mistakes. I believe in Lindsey.

I didn't respond because I'd sound homerish.. but here's what I think;

Shooting - Rubio by a smidgen.. but Rondo for scoring when needed.
Athleticism - Rubio has cement boots in comparison.
Floor leader/BBIQ - Rondo by a MILE.

I don't think it's close. It's Rondo's incredible feel for the game.. that sixth sense, coupled with elite athleticism and nose for the ball, that makes him miles ahead.

Really good family friends had a daughter that went to Duke when I was but a kid. My parents never really cared much for sports, but this family did, so they made sure I was a Duke fan. They're Asian of course.

Oh and I'm white. So I have that in common with Duke people. And I got that cash money, so I have that in common with the students.
 
My asian friend from HS graduated from Duke this past year. I think he works there now. He goes to games and paints his face and ****.

Also had a cousin who went to Duke, she is white/half jewish.
 
Do not want for many reasons. I'm not concerned that the Jazz would be stupid enough to make me concerned.

I don't think I would do Hayward, and the reason being is that he is an elite shooter. I'm a bird in the hand kind of guy. I know what I have with Hayward, and that is a valuable piece. I know that pg is more replaceable than SG. I know that I am trying to build this team around a half court offense and bigs on the block. I need shooters to do that.

Rondo is better than Hayward. But is he a better fit than Hayward on this team? I'm not sure. And you have to max Rondo out? I'm not sure he is a max player. If I am going to take a risk in the 2014 draft with a teens to twenties pick, I'd rather take that risk on a pg than a sg.

Tough call though.
