He does if you play him at PG. Even if he has a negative wingspan, he is still 6'6 in shoes w/ a 8'4.5 standing reach.Herro is a TRex. Doesn’t fit positional size vision
So you think a 33yr old Holiday is OUR GUY? We have plenty of draft capital to go after a star if a legit one becomes available. That isn't Holiday. I also love how focusing on our current group for another year somehow makes us a bottom feeder. So how do we get "our guy"? 2024 draft? 2025? Trade for him forcing him to come to a bottom feeder team?
Good lord you really do love the idea of building another treadmill team. Yeah let's burn assets on a 33yr old Jrue and then let's burn the rest on another star in a trade only to have Jrue regress over the next few years and we get locked into being average. Let's also play with fire and lock ourselves into contracts so we no longer have the ability to renegotiate and extend Lauri next summer. I would like to avoid that situation as much as possible. Not to mention that Jrue is likely to play out his contract and test free agency in 2025 unless we throw an overpay extension at him.So adding Jrue Holiday, a 33 year old, will suddenly fill the team with other 30 something year olds?
You're either dumb or ignorant. The Jazz could throw four picks at Jrue (not that Im saying they should) and they would still have enough assets to make multiple massive moves/pivots.
Lmao you have the dumbest view of the building. Bakk the cakkGood lord you really do love the idea of building another treadmill team. Herro can put up 10 3s in a game where Sexton might put up 3I mean what's the difference between Herro and Sexton?
I just have a hard time seeing it. Herro might be a slight upgrade but not by much. One can even argue that Sexton is the better player. Put Sexton in the Herro role in Miami and he can easily get you 20pts a game as well.
Fair point, I guess he’s as much of a one as we’ve got.He does if you play him at PG. Even if he has a negative wingspan, he is still 6'6 in shoes w/ a 8'4.5 standing reach.
People siting his play in summer League to throw shade is my biggest Jazzfanz pet peeve. They had him playing as a playmaker and ball handler it’s not his game. They will have him spotting up in the corner and playing solid defense. In the regular season and he has a chance to be very good at that role.I'm not really a huge Ochai fan either(he showed his warts in summer league)
