CJ. People talk about him needing to find consistency, but he found it long ago. He's consistently a bonehead.

I don't understand why Bell is even included in the poll. I've seen the guy talk, and he seems easily the most intelligent Jazzman.

Sheer brilliance. This is easily the post of the year. Perhaps the best of the decade. If there were a HOF for threads, this easily makes it on the first ballot. Yes, I'd like to see KOC and Greg Miller included - perhaps a follow-up version could include FO personnel, owners, announcers, etc.

I laughed at all the entries, but the Bell scenario and the one about Corbin were my favorites. Since I actually like Bell's attitude and effort, although his skills have deserted him, I'll vote Corbin. But that could change if some trades happen and it appears Corbin has been under orders to try to improve the trade value of Al, Howard, etc.

KOC asks Josh Howard, "Son, what is it with you? Is it ignorance or apathy?" Howard says, "I don't know what's it with me coach, and I don't care."

God help us. Laydenisms should be verboten. But it's not like Layden invented this line, just borrowed it like all of his humor.

Cheez, this is harsh....I feel bad for the players, they memorize 100s, no 1000s, of basketball in game situations but still don't get any respect.

I voted CJ

I felt like I'm a bad guy after posting the thread but... you know... they kinda deserved this.

Above and beyond any of them is KOC. Why in the he'll is he not an option? Mind blowing

To be honest, I just like the guy, and I didn't believe that he's that stupid or unseccesful enough to be an option, sorry...

I'm guessing you are pretty easily amused based on the Big Mama's House avatar.

I'm not saying that I've posted the funniest jokes but, is it really a bad thing to be joyful? Dalamon is a young, kind, nice and definitely a cheerful guy. I think his character is also an advantage by the side of the pessimist guys, to be a Jazz fan, you know what I'm saying?

I agree with you but I'm still under the sway of his early performances. Plus, as far as it comes to the smartness, Matt Barnes maybe the most intellegent guy in the entire NBA but I can't help myself but see him as a dumb player on the court, most of the time.

I really don't know if Layden invented the joke or borrowed it but if we consider even a bright guy like Alec Burks has done this, (after 1:30)

I say, it's pretty plausible that the line of the Layden could be genuine.

In the meantime, thanks for all the nice replies, guys.

To be fair his eyes lit up like an instant before he was told Ty was the head coach so I give him the benefit of the doubt, plus he is nervous and just came out of a workout.

Edit: after rewatching it I change my mind about instant before thing
