There's a ****ing BRIGADE of "Burks is expendable" folks around here.... Who have no idea what they're talking about. They refuse to even acknowledge what a remarkable value his contract is..

Breathe deeply, pointing out that Alec is not an above average passer for a SG is not casting aspersions, it is just dealing with facts and not being a homer.

Burks does look like he's in damn good shape tho. Looked fast and quick to me.

That is honestly all I wanted to see last night from him. Was happy with it. Now hopefully we can work him into some role sooner rather than later.

Anecdotal. If the best you can say for Alec is that he is "pretty good" I'm not sure how strong the argument is that he is above average. I agree he's made some good passes, but who hasn't? Unless you live at Lake Wobegone, everyone is not above average.

Mack please. Nothing tells me that Burks is worse at PG than SG, and Mack is much worse than Jingles/Hood/JJ. I love the idea of PG Burks and SG Exum, with roles reversed on D.

Here's Burks comparison when hes at PG vs SG. Much more efficient and a better scorer.

Here's the rest of the team's #'s when Burks is at PG. Seems his offensive threat gives others good looks making them much more efficient.
