Our defense is not top notch like people were claiming before the road stretch. Overall, we are in mediocre, not pretty, shape.
What I am excited about, however, is that 8 of our 11 next games are at home. This is where Snyder has the opportunity to produce a consistent offense, which I expect will get Hood back to contributing consistently and hopefully make Hayward more efficient.
I don't expect Hayward to have the same production as last year, since even towards the end of last season defenses were starting to figure him out. But if he can at least increase his FG% and 3PT% to levels similar to last year, albeit taking less shots than last year, we will be in a very good position.
