Yeah. Jingles over Evans. It's nice that he's shown up well since the trade of Kanter. Hopefully he can catch on with another team. Nice guy.

I actually think there is a room for both of them. But if I had to choose between them, I'd choose Jingles too.

If I'm being honest, I'm not sure that there is room for both.

I'd rank Exum, Burke, Burks, Hayward, Hood, Millsap, Jingles, Favors, Booker and Gobert over Evans right now. That's 10 spots filled. I'd like to see them add Tomic, a wing in the draft (Hezonja/Johnson) and a veteran free agent 3&D or PG. That's 13 solid spots filled before even looking at Pleiss, Neto, Cotton, Johnson, Cooley, Evans, Motum, additional free agents, players available through trades, waiver pickups and 2nd round picks. Just to fill 2 (maybe 3) available roster spots.

I do like Evans a lot, but he's better off getting a contract somewhere else. The Jazz simply don't have room for him any longer.

PG: Exum, Burke, Neto or Cotton (3)
Wings: Hayward, Hood, Burks, Jingles, Millsap (5)
Bigs: Gobert, Favors, Booker (3)

Additions: Draft pick and Tomic (plan A) or Pleiss (plan B). That brings the roster up to 13.

On the bubble (2 remaining spots): Motum or Cooley, Johnson, Evans, 2nd-round pick, FA signing?

Jazz should be solid at the starting spots and have the freedom to add a few pieces to shore up the bench this offseason for sure.

Seriously guys I would like to see Tomic come and make an impact for us next year. But how many of you actually think he will come and play for the jazz next year ? Less than 50% chance ?

Ball is in the Jazz court. I think his interest is genuine, and Utah can offer a LOT more than Barcelona. The nice thing is that the Jazz don't have to compete with other NBA teams on the open market. No matter how many people worry that he won't cut it, I'd be willing to bet that someone else would be willing to pay more than Utah to find out.

I think the ball is still in his court, the Jazz have said they want to sign him this offseason.
I’m hearing that the Utah Jazz have informed Barcelona of their intentions to buy-out Ante Tomic this offseason. - See more at: https://hoopshype.com/rumors/tag/utah_jazz?page=3#sthash.27047iZP.dpuf

I think his interest might be to get a bigger contract. But I am starting to lean towards he is coming over this year!
