All of this being said, getting Exum would not suck at all, and that is probably the floor where we stand now.

How did you come up with this comp? Their games don't look anything alike IMO. Are you talking overall talent level and where Carter sits on the all time list?

Ya mostly comparing the type of career i could see wiggins having if he doesn't reach his potential.
A few all star seasons, lots of highlights, a few dunk contest wins, and lots of jersey sales.

I really like the mcgrady comp better though tbh.... good call b-line

I really dont think any of the 3 will bust.

I think worst case for wiggins is vince carter.
Worst case for randle is derrick coleman.
Worst case for parker is poor mans paul pierce

I do think that parker is the most "sure thing" of the 3

If Parker's floor is Paul Pierce

I said POOR mans paul pierce for parkers floor.
I think actual paul pierce is closer to parkers ceiling (not a bad thing btw, especially since i think he has a good chance of reaching that ceiling.)

Also, please stop with the comparisons of jeremy evans and vince carter.

Vince gets alot of hate but in his prime he was a pretty damn good player.
He took a kinda crappy raptors team to the playoffs and i remember the series against philly, philly was double teaming vince when he didnt even have the ball.

Jeremy evans is no vince carter.

Not a comparison but one other way to look at wiggins: Michael vick is one of the dumbest football players i have ever seen playing the position where brains are needed most.... he was one win from the super bowl with reggie dunn as his running back, peerless price, michael jenkins, and brian finneran as his wide receivers.... he made multiple pro bowls, and might have been rookie of the year and mvp (not sure about those two as im not looking this info up, just going off memory)

When you have transcendent physical tools + a little skill, sometimes you dont need some of the intangibles to be good.

If wiggins has or develops the intangibles then he could be the GOAT..... I for one would hate to miss out on something that special

Not exactly sure what that means, need a One Brow interpretation.

How far do you think he could slide? 7-8?

He isnt Shabazz Muhammad. Its not close either.

I was saying Shabazz wasnt number one material way back when everyone was saying he was(pats self on back). Now Im saying Wiggins stays number 1 and gets drafted number 1. We wont see a a Muhammad Mudslide this time around.

I think it is too early to make a choice but I picked Parker simply because I think he has more of a refined offensive game. Again I have to see if he is a SF and not an undersize PF.

I wanted to say Randle, but that scenario would mean saying goodbye to Kanter or Favors (fine with trading Favors, but think the f/o would trade/bench Kanter, and that doesn't work for me).

I didn't choose Wiggins just because his lack of fire really scares me. He is reminding me of a Darius Miles more and more. I want to see him rip the hearts out of his oppenents and drink their blood, then ride off into the sunset with their girlfriends--just because he has that ability.

I chose Parker, and it has nothing to do with him being LDS (I am not, and that's a retarded way to build a contender). I chose him because I thunknhe fills a gaping hole in our team (sf is Hayward plays sg), and is a dominant force. Parker looks like a man, plays like a man, and acts like one. He has an incredible all around game, and really buys into the succes of the team, but at the same time isn't affraid to dominate the ball game.

No - I do believe Randle can play the SF position in the NBA. Go the draft thread for more analysis on this.

Sorry to burst bubbles around here, but the Jazz are David Stern's red headed step child. If we end up with the most ping pong balls, our pick will be in the 5-8 range. After that, i'll never watch another NBA game again. Lets enjoy the season :P

Stern won't be commisioner at 2014 draft.

If you finish with the worst record, you're guaranteed a top 3 pick.

As I stated in the big draft thread. I don't see Wiggins to have that killer instinct that separates the Kobe and Lebrons from the rest of the league. I see it in Randle and I have seen it in Parker. Not say Wiggins won't develop it. It's just something I find a bit worrisome.

This is a little random for this thread but saw it mentioned here as well as another, but this talk of trading Favors is crazy IMO. I would trade KANTfense before it become a problem and draft Randle to play next to Favors.
