I have always been of the mindset that He won't ever be an All-Star. However, Consider that Steve Nash started his career as a player that you never would have thought would become an all-star, let alone an MVP. There might be something to be said about Gordon Hayward becoming an All-Star at some point. If Gordon ever gets to the point where he can create his own shot and shot well off teh dribble, he will certainly be an All-Star. I think that is what is separating him from being a 2nd teir scorer in the NBA. Right now he is a 3rd year Scorer and he is super close to moving into the 2nd tier, but first he has to learn to shoot of the dribble better. Regardless of if he does or not, His set shot is becoming elite. Since December 1st, he has the 4th highest 3pt % in the league! quite a large sample size. That is sick and Overall I am impressed with Hayward and I think that even if he remains a 3rd tier scorer in the league, i imagine his assist numbers will go up and if the Jazz are a legit team, he could make an All-star team in that situation, especially because if the system gets right and we get a solid PG, Gordon will likely put up aroudn 18 PPG. Also, he socred 25 points and had 6 assist and 5 boards last night and did it efficiently; no small feat. What do you think? Discuss.
