No bro I don't know to neg you!!! I don't think it's possible for someone to neg you!!! That avatar is just so cute!!!!

^__^ cute!!

You think Zoidberg is.....cute?
Well that's one way to put it. I think you've been watching too much Bachelor.

Who the **** voted no?

You beat me to it.

And like the Hawks game, Favors is doing it against much better competition than what Kanter did it against. Not to take away from Kanter's kick-*** night, just trying to restore the faith in Favors.

Carroll is on fire!!!! Why is Marvin playing over this guy? I hope the Jazz re-sign him and trade Marvin.

Keep hoping.

KOC will let him go like he did mathews. Then he will replace him with another terrible veteran.

Marvin won't be traded. He will be re-signed.

This nightmare will never end.

Ty will be here for 20 years too. And we will be hampered by his inability to judge who should be playing forever.

Sorry to be so negative. But I have zero faith in this franchise to pull its head out its ***.

I can remember way back in the day when an old *** washed up no good Tom Chambers was here and they wouldn't take him off the court either. Some of you young bucks might not remember but this nonsense of playing garbage veterans goes way back.

I just dont get it.

Why get in your own way?

I can't see how playing a player that is a complete mess is any better than playing a young kid

Kanter's biggest advantage on Favors is that Kanter has the ability to take advantage of mismatches. When a scrub, or someone who can't physically match Kanter, is guarding Kanter, he will dominate them. Favors can't do that for whatever reason. He relies on his athletic ability too much.

When they both go up against competition though Kanter's ability shrinks a bit (at this point in his career) because he can't exploit his defender as much. Favors still remains kind of a random contributor though, so he is capable of big games against great teams.

Haha.

Im venting the wrong thread.

O well. They are all good enough to bitch about Corbin anyways

There's a little thing called FREE agency. KOC has no control over what another team offers Carroll, just like he had no control over Portland overpaying Matthews. Along with KOC, 28 other GM's thought Portland's offer was crazy. An undrafted player going from a minimum contract to north of $6M...unprecedented. I'd say Matthews is playing to about his value. In hindsight, probably a fair price, but not one the Jazz could afford. Remember, it would have cost the team $10M+ due to the luxury tax. Sure, Utah could have possibly dumped a player. But the likely price would have been a draft pick. I'm ok with what happened. And the Jazz will do what they can to retain Carroll. But they're not going to give him a HUGE deal and risk not being able to afford the Core4. SF should be the EASIEST position to fill. There are a ton of serviceable SF's available every year.

AS for Marvin, he has a PLAYER option. He'll opt in...the Jazz have no control over that. But it's no big deal. He comes off the books before the Jazz have to pay the big bucks to Burks and Kanter. KOC knew that when he made the trade. Marvin was worth the gamble. He has the talent. I still maintain Corbin ruined Marvin early on by not using him more. Williams has just lost interest.

How did you accomplish a reverse jinx? Best all around games by jazz bigs in a decade!

Wtf? Seriously. You have a guy playing that well and you take him out after 3 quarters? I want Corbin's head!
