I don't see so much complaining from the left about politics. Mostly just complaining about Trump. Which really shouldn't be a partisan thing.

This is absolute nonsense.

Thats all the left does is complain. Literally they take to the streets and riot because they are complaining so hard. They start bogus conspiracy theories and cry about the right ever secondbod the day.

The right is the party who is either in self defense mode or celebrating victories.

I would like to state/clarify a few things here.

While we all have our own ideas/beliefs as far as political policy, I am glad that we live in a country that we are allowed to speak freely about those ideas.

Also, while some of the conversations can get somewhat heated and feel personal, I have respect for every poster on here regardless of whether you support the current administration or not.

And finally, while it seems to me that this board is heavily left leaning in ideology (just my opinion), the fact that we all come together and discuss the issues at hand is awesome. As some others have mentioned it is better than being in a FB melting pot of nothing but the same takes over and again. I cannot stress enough how good of a thing that is to actually hear all voices.

I hope that none of you have taken any of the discussions that I have participated in personally if we land on different sides of the debate. I can only speak for myself but I have never intended for the conversations to dissolve into personal pissing matches. That's not the most productive way to get positive dialogue.

I appreciate all of your ideas as the different perspectives challenge each of us to think outside of our comfort zones. Carry on ladies and gentlemen.

I appreciate this post. I'd say that the majority of heavy posters on the general discussion forum lean left. Most on the site are probably conservative but avoid the general discussion forum.

I like that among conservative leaning posters, you're sticking around (many leave), you're bravely engaging in and adding to the discussion with your own perspective (unlike HEATHME), and not a goddamn troll (like NPC).

I agree. Thanks for this post.

The one thing I think needs a little clarification is that being anti-Trump does not mean you're left leaning. Several posters here who criticise Trump are somewhat to very conservative.

I know no one ever believes the "I'm actually independent" claim, but several others who are anti-Trump are far from hardcore liberals and/or diehard Democrat fanboys.
