We take bpa if it's 8 or below and try and package for a quality player. Hood is 12-16 max.
We can't get Jabbari because our front office is too dam stoopid to see the forest through the trees.
You know the 6'8 small forward who scores 16 points a game, and shoots 44% from the three.......
Jabar.........Ooops I mean Rodney Hood.

If the Jazz get a pick 6-8 which is looking pretty likely..would you be happy with Hood?
I don't think he will be an All-Star but this is who I hope the Jazz get if we don't have a top pick. He is very consistent and can come in right away and be really good. Everytime I watch a Duke game to watch Parker I end up really liking Hood. I think he would fit perfectly with the Jazz.
Burke/Neto?
Hayward/Burks
Hood/Williams
Favors/Evans
Kanter/Gobert
Maybe a playoff team next year?
I realize now being a Jazz fan for over 20 years that its not about what stars we have on our team, its about whether or not our stars can attract other role/star players to the team. I believe that there are very few players who can do that for a team like the Utah Jazz. I also think that J. Parker is one of the few that can make that happen. There is no doubt that he is going to be an incredible player. Also with him being mormon its a perfect fit. Just for the record I am not mormon, but I also accept every race outside of my own. With Parker being mormon the lack of night life isn't going to scare him out of Utah as it has so many other young talented players Utah has received. (D-Will, Booze, to name a couple) He would be able to look past that and focus just on basketball and grab the attention of other star athletes throughout the NBA. He is a guy you can actually have hopes that he will stick around beyond the standard 5 years that most star rookies stay with their draft team. I would be thrilled if we were able to get Parker.
