think Jazz can win a game on the road or two and creep into the playoff's .. it might be them vs the NBA :p

If we can beat Golden State with convincing fashion on the road we can definitely beat Minnesota. Memphis is another story, but I am hopeful. Lakers will lose on Sunday. All we have to do is win out. Far from impossible.

Have you seen the lakers -wariors game.

3 refs in the pocket >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Kobe out.

refs for the win

The only reason LA has won the last couple is because Kobe went insane. I didn't see the GS game but maybe they got a little help too. I just don't see them winning both games.

50-16 free throws for the Lakers against Golden State last night and a 2 point win for the Lakers. Just saying...

I voted for the Jazz, but probably would have gone with the cheese option.

I don't think The Jazz win another game for the rest of the year. It took 40 points from Al Jefferson to sneak by a team that is even worse on the road than Utah. The T-Wolves are not just playing out the string - they're going to play hard Monday night.

Memphis is trying to secure home court advantage in the first round. If they lose tonight against LAC they will most certainly have something to play for on Wednesday night against Utah.

i think the jazz are going 0-2

they practically need to go 2-0 to make the playoffs at this point.

only reason i'd rather see the jazz get into the playoffs over the lakers b/c it would be great for these young guys to get into that light again. Problem is they would get swept.

Lakers would just get swpt too. so who gives a ****.

Actually, other way around. If they beat LAC, they'll be playing for something Wednesday no matter what happens.

The only way they rest against the Jazz is if they lose to LAC and @ Dallas, LAC wins vs Portland, and Denver goes 1-1 vs Portland and @ Milwaukee.

I still figure ... Lakers should go 0-2 provided they get any type of fair game calling ... honestly they should have lost the last three games had it not been for Kobe putting them on his shoulders.
you figure regardless Jazz should split these road games.

either way it's no big deal ... it would be fun to watch a few games in a probable sweep ... I wouldn't put it past them to win a game at home

You probably know more about this than I do, but can Memphis jump over the LAC or do the Clippers end up 4th as a division champion? I was thinking we were in pretty good shape if Memphis lost tonight because Denver holds the tie breaker.

Jazz need another piece. We don't want to make the playoffs so we can get Pope, GR3, or McCullum.

I thought the Jazz had a better chance before. Now they are without hope.

The NBA loves drama, they love story lines, they also love Sunday games in the Staples Center, and TV ratings.

You can hear the Intro to the first round: "For the Lakers it was supposed to be a season of dreams, but soon turned to a nightmare. But they overcame the adversity of a coach change, Dwights injury, Nash's injury, and Gasol's injury to fight their way into the playoffs on the back of their leader Kobe Bryant. Then the unthinkable, Kobe goes down a possible career ending injury. Now can this team come together to fight throw the biggest challenge of all? Facing the powerful OKC Thunder without the Lakers leading scorer. Its game 1........"

Then they can do about 40 cut away shots to the sidelines to show Kobe looking solemn and concentrating encouraging his teammates or showing his disgust. Maybe Kobe with a clipboard drawing out some plays while the team ignores DAntoni. And the commentators will have to wonder several times what might have happened if Kobe was in the game.

The NBA will make it happen. And it will only cost them the Jazz, who don't have a national following and have been spurned by the local fans this season.

Maybe Stern will give Greg a top 3 pick in exchange for Greg's cooperation in the matter.

When is the draft lottery?
