Dwight: "The only thing that matters is these 2 games and getting into the playoffs and making history. That’s the only thing that matters."

Dwight: This team’s got to ride my back even though my back is still healing. I feel I can do all things & take this team to the next level.

NBA, we Know Drama.

they will probably show flashbacks to the NCAA tourney with Kevin Ware ..split screen Kobe sad face......with a violin playing in the background ... still not sure why I'm laughing at this

Kobe is going to be paid 30 million dollars next year to recover from an acheles pull.

yikes

have they used their amnesty yet?

You make a good point but the truth is Lakers will probably not use there amnesty ... if it was there goal to save millions of dollars sure that's exactly what they would do ... but were talking about a team that pays around 175 mil in luxury tax they know that Kobe should be back at some time next season and I'm sure they don't mind a few lost dollars in hopes of his return ... they're not going to be able to replace him

Memphis lost tonight - which means they have to win the next two games to have any hope of home field advantage in the first round against LAC who owns the tie-breaker. LAC plays Portland and Sacramento - two teams that are both tanking. They won't lose again unless they don't need to win. Only problem is LAC's last game is after the Memphis - Jazz so Grizzlies will play their starters.

Only chance Utah has Wednesday is if Memphis loses tomorrow night against Dallas making Wednesday game meaningless to them.

still you figure if the Jazz can somehow win out then they should get in ... It's a big IF at this point i'm afraid but I really don't see the Lakers wining anyone without Kobe and a lot help from the refs

Haha.. classic dwight.

If we can beat Golden State with convincing fashion on the road we can definitely beat Minnesota. Memphis is another story, but I am hopeful. Lakers will lose on Sunday. All we have to do is win out. Far from impossible.
I see just the opposite. Utah has struggled in Minnesota. TWolves played physical against Utah and took them deep into the 4th quarter yesterday. I think it's likely Minnesota wins and then the Jazz beat Memphis. The Grizzlies will likely be resting starters to prepare for the playoffs...unless positioning is at stake.

If MEM beat Mavs, they'll have a real chance at clinching 1st round home court. Hard to imagine them not playing all their starters VS Jazz, and treating it as a warmup for the playoffs.
