With the 35th Pick... Jarnell Stokes (traded)

This only makes sense if we're getting the 2016 pick and the Griz are giving us cash to buy another second rounder this draft. Otherwise, trading #35 for what is going to be a lower pick makes absolutely zero sense (especially as future picks are downgraded in value).

I'll still take this draft and stealing Exum and Hood, but I don't get this move unless there's more to it.
 
Memphis could easily be worse than us 2 years from now doe.

Randolph/Gasol aren't getting younger and they are still a cheap team.
 
Need to get more than a second rounder, losing value, especially as deep as the draft is this year.

Agree. Why not draft and stash a Euro? Memphis' pick next season will be in the back half of the 2nd round in a weaker draft. Lost a TON of value on this trade.
 
Well, they announced it on the draft that no cash was involved, so I guess that's that.

Still don't get it. It was already said earlier, but it's as if I ask you to give me $20 today and you give me $10 back to cover it.
