Wolverine has extension claws, which represents Rudy's wingspan. He is also known for toughness/attitude and mean streak. Gambit is more of a confident/suave, which I don't see Rudy as. Wolverine fits Rudy way more, and Wolverine is 100x better than Gambit.

Wolverine is also 5'3" ...Close enough
 
Good news is that Exum plays very well against the Clippers and the Thunder. He has posted an offensive rating of 144 playing in 7 games against these two teams and a plus 31.4 +/- in those games.

Gobert = Colossus (obviously the name fits, and he's our man who's made of metal having played almost every game this season)
Favors = Beast (also obvious)
Hayward = Cyclops (the silent, strong leader type)
Hood = Iceman (because he's cold blooded)
Hill = Wolverine (because he's tenacious on defense and has long claws - doesn't seem to give a frick if he's part of the X-men)

Jingles = Longshot (does unexpected things that work)
Burks = Nightcrawler (appears in places suddenly)
Exum = Quicksilver (the fastest on the team)
Joe Johnson = Bishop (another leader with experience)
Boris Diaw = Gambit (french accent + the ability to manipulate kenetic energy)
Trey Lyles = Havok (young and powerful, but doesn't have control over his abilities yet)
Raul Neto = Cannonball (fast and on point)
Shelvin Mack = Sunspot

Jeff Withey = Banshee
Joel Bolomboy = Archangel (high flyer)

Quin Snyder = Professor S



Brotherhood of Evil Mutants:

Magneto = James Harden (because he magnetically draws fouls)
Toad = Chris Paul (both short and hoppy)
Sabretooth = Lebron James
Pyro = Kevin Durant (because he gets hot)
Juggernaut = Demarcus Cousins

What? Diaw is beast. Cultured, calm, can be effective but is often off doing his own thing.

You put a little more work into that than I was going to. I notice you don't have Storm, Kitty, Rogue, or any of the other female X-Men on there, tho... :confused:
