Where did you see that the pick becomes unprotected the next year?I'd characterize a protected pick that becomes unprotected the next year as only being half protected.

Yeah, but it's kind of unlikely to finish bottom-4 two years in a row, which is the only way the unprotected part works to our benefit. If you consider it protected at all. "Light" is doing a LOT of work in light protection for a pick that becomes unprotected, rather than conveys into seconds, a year late.
I guess it's speculation at this point. Thought the other thread had something maybe clearer about this. Might be wrong.Where did you see that the pick becomes unprotected the next year?
And if this was the move then you do it at the beginning of the season to maximize your own pick.Other than helping the tank this was way way less than I expected from trader Danny. Very underwhelming.
Looks like @YoungJefe was the first to claim it was. Where were you getting it, @YoungJefe ?I guess it's speculation at this point. Thought the other thread had something maybe clearer about this. Might be wrong.

Anybody who likes this trade is an utter moron.
Hence why a pick swap this year would’ve been a high-end asset as well. They're actually going to have to go on a pretty substantial run to even get there. There's just not a lot of games left, nor time to gel. I wouldn't bet on them ending that high.
