According to the IceColdCubano guy from RealGM, a rando guy who claims to have a source inside the Heat org and was correct about the timing of the Heat's first trade offer to the Jazz, the Jazz contacted the Heat last night and indicated that Mitchell is being made available. Allegedly, the Jazz are willing to take Tyler Herro back as a centerpiece, but want 5 or 6 picks in addition. Jazz have no interest in Robinson or Lowry, but are asking the Heat to move those players for additional picks from additional teams. Jazz and Heat are allegedly planning to meet tomorrow (Wed) afternoon in Las Vegas, with additional teams available to review the trade with the thinking that a deal could be completed this week.
Heat are also in play for Durant, who is allegedly sold on competing for chips with Butler, Bam and Spoelstra.
Personally, I think the Jazz are playing the Heat and are trying to provoke a big offer from the Knicks. There's no way that Herro and Heat picks would be the centerpiece for Mitchell, even if Miami is Mitchell's preferred destination. If the Jazz do trade Mitchell to Miami, it's because they are bending over backwards to accommodate him. Jazz appear to be headed to a long-term rebuild.
I have zero interest in Herro. He would want out instantly and have zero motivation to be in Utah by all indications.
If you read it one more time, like a big boy, and still have questions, let me know. What lmao

Every player gets to choose their attitude and a dude that doesn’t want to be there, regardless of choice or not, isn’t how I want to start a rebuildSince when does a player of caliber like Herro get to choose where he wants to play?
Pure classThere really is no need to discuss Herro because the Heat will not have the best offer for Mitchell but my god does he make some of you guys dumb.

I don't see how they could possibly come up with that many picks when the best thing I've seen from them included only two. Also, Riley is the guy that apparently told Ainge to go ef himself.I mean Herro and 5 or 6 picks including 3 pick swaps is a godfather offer. What are you talking about?
That seems realistic but I worry that the addition of Brunson has also cooled their interest a bit. I mean do they plan to follow the Dennis Lindsey model and put together the league's shortest starting guard line?I would be very happy if we ended up with Barrett, Toppin, Filler (dont care which player), 2 unprotected 1sts and 2 swap picks. More picks would be crazy good for the Jazz but I could see it, more likely those picks would have to be top 10 or something protected. Any unprotected pick in the future from the Knicks is worth a lot.
