Would Bell request a trade this offseason?

...who's gonna trade for Bell??? He's virtually worthless. He can't hit open jump shots...his defense is a thing of the past....and he makes too much money. The Jazz will keep him, or eat his contract.

bell wasn't that bad against the Celtics.
refs let Allen freaking elbow and punch Bell in the face multiple times without a whistle
if Bell even got near Allen dribbling the ball it was a foul.
jazz fanz should be mad at the refs, not bell.

I saw everybody on the Jazz brick shots and have lapses on D, not just Bell.
but on the whole they played well enough that they deserved the win. refs won, not the celtics.

I didnt say that he would. Even Deron or AK did'nt demand to be traded publicly. But I can imagine a quiet offseason conversation between him and KOC where he requests a trade, if possible, since he expected to be joining a contending team, not a rebuilding one. This would be a win-win situation for everybody.

I actually dont mind Bell as a backup SG, provided we could trade Miles or somebody else(Okur?) along with picks for an Afflalo or Young type SG.

AK very loudly demanded a trade and stuck to that demand for months. He even seemed to imply he'd take a $0 buyout when he saw Fisher walk.

jazz fanz should be mad at the refs, not bell.

...we've been mad at the refs ever since Dick Brevetta hosed us in game 6 of that finals against the Bulls! When Brevetta dies....many Jazz fans will be at the funeral...just to make sure he's dead!

This is not a wish, but a genuine question I have. The guy has been quoted recently as being "frustrated". Maybe with his injury. Or losing. Or something else. But the guy came here because we were awinning team, coached by Sloan whom he liked and we also had Deron. Now looking at the direction this team is taking maybe he requests KOC to look to trade him? His contract is not bad. If we can package a couple of those picks we have along with his contract maybe we get something decent in return?

I will volunteer to help pay for his moving expenses. Hell, he can even call me to help pack up soem boxes. Who's with me?

Here is the video from a Celtics blog where Utah's struggle in transition defense is being autopsied.
In fact, not much can be put on Bell except probably first one which was assessed as flopping

What the heck are you talking about, putting that on Bell? Referencing the first couple seconds of the video, it wasn't flopping, Allen whacked Bell in the head with his left elbow, possibly his right wrist too.

5 or 10 seconds before the video starts, Bell had position under the basket, and Allen got into a crouch and drove his entire body into Bells gut to move him, combined with a couple more intentional hard blows to the head. No foul called. Did the Celtics blog say that those hits were flops too?

You try playing sharp defense 3 seconds after whoozy from taking a shot to the gut and 3 or 4 blows to the head. 5 point swing there, determining rebound and open 3 pointer.

Celtics got more calls all game, and yet the refs spent half the 4th quarter listening to Doc Rivers sob. I think one ref was ready to give Doc a hug and buy him a beer. So they spent the last 5 minutes looking for what Doc and other Celtics told them to look for, and looking for every opportunity to give "make up calls" to help the Celtics even more.

I think the worst play Bell made all game was that wide open Pierce 3. AK switched on to Allen because Bell wasn't back in time to pick up his man. AK is actually an intelligent basketball player, knowing you can't leave Ray Allen open on the perimeter for 3 seconds. Bell then inexplicably ran straight over to pick up Allen. With AK standing right there. Leaving Pierce wide open for the dagger 3.

Then the astounding 2 points he made all game, and general incompetency at being able to bother any of Allen's shots, whether 'beat up' before hand or not...yeah it was a bad bad game from Raja.

What you don't talk about is the picks and other things Raja did to set other people up to score. He was doing a lot of dirty work out there and not getting any glory for it. Bell is doing just fine.
