would Eric Gordon be a viable option?

rumors had it that the soon tobe pelicans were shopping Gordon. it was also said that Gordon wants out of new Orleans. his contract is ugly but he is a good scorer. my thoughts are a sign and trade in the off season. if Jefferson could play next to anyone Anthony Davis would be the best fit.

there are a number of players on the pelicans that I like. not sure who they would part with. I figure if they trade Gordon they would want burks. Ryan Anderson, Jason smith, Xavier Henry and Darius miller I like.

would you as a jazz fan would you like a sign and trade al Jefferson plus burks for Eric Gordon and another piece?

Nope. Better off with Hayward/Burks at the 2. Jazz need an upgrade at 1/3 in the worst way.

I wouldn't commit to Gordon for a sign and trade with Al straight up. If he could stay on the floor the Horlicans wouldn't be shopping him.

 

[Getting Traded]

Gordon is injured and they're bringing him along cautiously -- plus there are probably some other internal issues. Getting Gordon would be huge. Big Al and a draft pick would be great, but let's keep Burks. I'd do it for Millsap and draft pick, as well, but rather keep Millsap.
