Too risky.
You are trading a 3 and 12 for a 6 and anything from a 1-15, with 5-12 being the most likely.
On the off chance the Wizards step it up and make the 8 spot in the east it could be the 15 and then we just got majorly screwed.

The only way I'd do it is if there was cash, or better yet a player from the wizards I liked involved somehow.... but then they wouldn't do it.
I'm not a gambler, and I don't think the Jazz FO is either.
 
Maybe they would include Jordan Crawford and there pick for 3 & 12th pick. They would get Kanter and Jimmer and Utah could get Walker or Knight depending on who falls
 
It's an interesting idea. I think I would take the deal if Williams and Irving are both gone. I believe next years draft will be much stronger in the front half. Kanter and Knight are just as big of risks as waiting for next years picks. I don't believe Washington will make the playoffs. Maybe they would add in their late round pick as well.

Who do you see that would be drafted ahead of Knight or Kanter at this point?

IMO, after Irving,Dwill2,Knight and Kanter, there is a big drop off
-I think Jonas is a stiff and his contract could be an issue, not worth a top 5 pick
-Kemba Walker- Not bad but don't think he should be a top 5 pick
- Biyombo- Love him but he should be around 6-12 range
-Vessely- Yuck, not ahead of Kanter/Knight
-Leonard- Maybe, if he develops more of an offensive game he will be a great player in the league
 
The Jazz would most likely not have three 1st round pick's since Minnesota owns our 1st round pick from the Al Jefferson trade. I wouldn't do this trade for two reasons.

1) CBA - There may be new restrictions against the upcoming class.

2) Wizards cap room- Wizards have about 15-16 million dollars of cap room next year. Meaning they could sign a superstar/all-star. They already have Wall. Rashard Lewis isn't that bad. If they add another player, I would see them slipping into the 7th-8th spot in the East which guarantees it's not a lottery pick. So Basically we are trading two of our lottery picks for one lottery pick that is worse and one non-lottery pick.

There is no guarantee that the Wizards will have a great pick next year. If they make the playoffs, we are basically trading 3 and 12 for 6 and 14+ which doesn't make much sense.

There are so few quality free agents, it's highly probably Washington will be in the lottery next season.

Don't forget 2 months ago - everyone (fans, media, scouts) was saying what a weak draft this is. Now, after testing/measurements and some workouts where you learn more about certain players suddenly you grow attached to certain prospects - which is fine, but the bottom line is it's still a weak draft. When you combine the strong freshman class with all the guys who considered entering but then opted to return, I think you could get a better player at #10 in 2012 than at #3 in 2011, and I wouldn't worry about the NBA raising the age limit.

I would seriously consider this trade.
 
I consider the 10th pick next year equal to the 3rd pick this year. Rivers sits there currently, so it kind of shows you the immense depth that draft will hold.
If Wall follows the same path Derrick Rose did though, Washington will win quite a few more games next year. They could be a borderline playoff team, so its close.
 
Too risky. What if owners as part of new CBA decide college players have to spend two years in college.
Next years draft has nobody. Jazz should stay with #3 pick this year. They are guaranteed a very good player left of the top three. Any or all could be all star caliber at some point.
