Would you do this trade?

I'm sure I'm in the minority opinion here, but I don't support Granger trades; he's just too damned valuable and he'd be 30 before the team had a realistic shot.

I've said it dozens of times, but Paul George is who you should have in your sites. Indy drafted him because he was BPA, not because he fulfilled a specific need (he overlaps with Granger).

If I'm Indy, then I WANT Al Jefferson to pair with Hibbert. That would be ****ing dope, IMO. If I'm Utah, then I take George, this year's first, and Posey (to make the contracts work (he's expiring)). Then, I make sure I get Biyombo to backup Favors and Millsap. I probably also look at Kanter. Having three first-rounders this year would ensure that the Jazz could package 2 in order to get their guy + fill out the depleted roster for next year.

Harris/Watson?/
Hayward/
George/CJ?/Posey
Millsap/Biyombo/Evans
Favors/Kanter?/Memo?

lots of blanks

Yeah, Indy wouldn't do it. One of the picks would have to be involved. But our leverage would be we're not one player away from title contention, we don't have to do the deal, and they could take Memo/Hayward/12 or we'll just stay our merry course. I like Hayward a lot, but Memo/Hayward and the 12 you have to do. Let Indy get the moon for Granger somewhere else.

Id much rather have a Hayward and the 12 pick. I think Hayward has crazy upside and Granger yes has a great contract but hes getting old. And I want Utah retool with younger potential players.

If we could trade Milsap and the 12th pick for Granger, Mcroberts. I'd do that!! Gives Indy a a decent rotation of bigs with Handboro, Milsap, Hibbert with a lotto pick to pick up Burc. Then let George take over.

Lets Utah take the best avble PG in the draft, with the 6th pick. Resign AK at 3 3-4yrs for 7 million. Then gives Utah the superstar there missing to pair up with Harris and Jefferson. Just think;

Harris, (Knight-I hope), Watson (maybe)
Hayward, Miles
Granger, Ak
Favors, Ak
Big Al, Mcroberts

end of the bench; Fez, Bell, Memo, Evans.

Now I would be excited to watch that team play! Solid Vets, with Solid Potential Young Players

Who is this Handboro person you speak of? Is he related to Marlboro by any chance?

Lol and just think I tried repping you earlier, but it said I must spread the love around...and this is how I get repaid :) and I was talking about Tyler Handsboro. For not being a Pacers fan I got pretty close to the correct spelling.

just joshing. Been a Heel fan since birth so had to say something. Great to see psycho T play some good ball lately. Another guy a lot of people doubted could play in the NBA. Hopefully his vertigo problem is gone.

I would love granger but I would not trade Hayward for him. I would look at the Jefferson trade. But they would have to give us a lot.

I was really hoping he would end up falling to Utah but those darn Pacers don't really care what I think. Same with Hibbert

We would need to throw in a pick and it would have to be Miles instead of Bell. Still not sure Indiana would make the trade. But for the Jazz, I would do it in a second. No brainer

I would never want Josh McRoberts on my team, ever.

This thread is about getting Granger, right? If he's available, you have to put your bid in. So lets backtrack. Is there anyone here who would not trade Hayward for Granger straight up?

I think IND would want Hayward. I would move Milsap / Hayward for Granger / Psycho T

We should move Raja for Flynn

PG Harris/Flynn
SG Draft Pick/ Draft Pick ????? or CJ
SF Granger/ CJ
PF Favors/Psycho T
C Jefferson/ ????
Indiana would take that in a heartbeat, and they should because it's a terrible trade for Utah.

Yes. I can't believe the support for this idea. The future is much brighter with Hayward.
