Would you ever go to North Korea?

I would rather go to the Korean part of China by North Korea. Mostly because I could communicate with people there, and it seems a more interesting landscape.

Well, with everything being equal and with the things the way they are now, most civilians are not able to visit that country...especially for tourist purposes. Unless I am completely wrong on that fact. Besides, don't you have a family? Why would you ever take a chance that your trip would end well and NOT with some sort of spy tinged incarceration? Just seems risky. I like life, I like living.

And because you're a professional human organ smuggler.
If by organ smuggler you mean what I think you mean...

^Those look more like pianos tbpfhwy
I spent a whole two minutes searching google images for a good pic of someone carrying an organ and couldn't find anything good.

Thanks Obama

Not much in North Korea to go visit, so far as I can tell. Very mountainous, and not the beautiful kind, either. Stick to South Korea.

You left out the rest of my post, which explained all that.

Seeing beauty wouldn't be the objective. You're going there expecting ugly. You definitely would have to tack a week in Osaka/Tokyo on to the trip too. Go to NK for some rarely experienced insight, Tokyo/Osaka for fun. Guaranteed bad *** trip.

Seems kind of pointless. Never been to Tokyo. Would probably rather stick to Seoul.

Tokyo is pretty crazy. I have only ever had a layover there. But it is HUGE. And from the pictures I remember when I was a kid, people live in places that look like driers or something. Awesome. View attachment 3877

Nobody gives a poop about mountains. I would imagine it's more about a rare chance to take an up close look at/experience an isolated culture.

I'd do it.

I want to go there right after it becomes a democracy or the people get some freedoms. I would like to see that transformation. Seems like a lot of the. Would have no clue how to act. Would be crazy.
