i think, with hayward and favors, and say we get enes and traded to get knight, we wont really need a very good SF. Its enough he is a good defender like Ariza

I think I'd much rather keep the 12 the pick and pick up Singleton and use the gs pick for PG or try and package millsap and the gs pick for Lawson gallenari

Ford was a little worried about Kanter as well. He said the guy looked great in the Nike Hoops Summit, but that is like an AS game so Kanter is a gamble in a weak draft. According to him, the upside is a tougher Carlos Boozer. Anyway, there's always the chance we deal the pick.

i think his downside is boozer , upside is nowitzki, im pretty sure with that

Except Kanter is worse than Fesenko, with a lower basement, ZERO NBA (read that slowly, it's National Basketball Association, not rejected by Euro garbage waste) potential. Zero. Fesenko is a mile higher and can screw tighter bitches, including Kosta and Turiaf's merged clone. In fact, I'd redraft everyone from Bordchardt to Kosta on through that gorilla looking BYU guy before Kanter.

ejected ? what are u talking about ? he rejected an astronomical deal from his team, when he was 16. He certainly was confident in his ability to play and in nba and chose this path. its clear ure biased about european players, but gasol and nowitzki are european too.
Fesenko can be a mile higher but he dunks 2 mins after starting to jump and gets blocked. Please watch Kanter carefully this year either in Utah or another team.

I think Jefferson should be the one to go. He's a great one on one OFFENSIVE player but the o absolutly stops when he gets it. It's mostly his fault because he tries to go 1 on 2 or 1 on 3 every time. However, the team got used to this and now stand around and watch. Millsap makes more sense because he plays good d and he works within the o. Jefferson has a bigger contract and moving him saves tax money. Getting rid of Jefferson and then they get a Houston clause with the CBA and all of a sudden the Jazz have an exciting young team and stay under the cap.

Kanter is by far the best player in this draft, and Cleveland will take him 1st. I've posted this in every thread he's involved in so people can give up the hope now. He won't be around at the 3.

im not sure, even though i agree kanter is the best player in the draft. Cavs need to settle their future on a pg, they would get irving imo. They already have hickson so i dont think they will draft kanter, and in normal conditions minnesota should get wiliams, cuz they already have love. But there is a bunch of business stuff going on, so u never know who will be picked where.

why does everyone want to trade Millsap? this dude is awesome and he works hard. Millsap has worn out fast this year but he is only going to get better.

I hope you are right. I wouldn't want the pressure of picking/skipping on him. He is a big risk, especially if Cleveland takes him 1st overall.

Because we all feel bad for him he has worked so hard to be a starter to only eventually have Favors take his place. A little awkward for everyone.

what are people basing their views of Kanter on - apart from the Nike Hoops Summit game?

Am i right in saying that is basically the only sample we have of him so far? If not, where do we find other samples of Kanter playing - ie. stats etc???

I don't understand why you'd want to pair a budding low-post player that could possibly do it the right way with another, overrated low-post ballhog. And both under 7 feet. And both kind of slow. Sweet Twin Towers you'd have there (post 9/11).

I don't want to take this path either, but if Kanter really can step out to the 3 range and knock down shots then it wouldn't be a terrible pairing (at least offensively).

I actually think Millsap would accept a bench role. He is a man and handles his business professionally. But I think he would bolt after his contract is up or secretly asked to be traded (if he wasn't getting starter type minutes).

Before people get cemented in discounting Kanter because of his lack of athleticism let me remind everyone of Z. Randolph's un-athletic yet dominant production for Memphis. Kanter really might be the best player in this draft.

As far as who to trade? ...I dunno. Whoever has more value. But I'm leaning toward trading Sap. Just 'cause he's short and we're hoping we can squeeze him into the 3 which isn't exactly a fit.
Re: Jefferson. I think he'll be better next year in the offense. He's spent years doing triple pumps to get his shot off so I'm sure it's a bit of a crutch for him, but there were many times last year when the Jazz needed a bucket and they didn't run any offense - they just dumped it to Jefferson and said "do that triple pump thing you do and get us a much needed bucket." And he did. He's pretty good at that move.

Not even that much with these box score ballers. I guarantee not more than 2 of them, if it's even that many, actually watched the game in question. They're going on box scores and a five minute highlight clip. The highlights are unimpressive so they're wrapping themselves in a Kanter scoring record flag. No substance to the argument whatsoever.

B.S. Randolph is a beast, extremely crafty, and a cheetah compared to this big turtle. Randolph moves in ways others cannot. Kanter can barely get off the floor. Go watch Kosta film and you'll see all there is to see.

I would never draft a guy in the first round assuming he's a lock to play right away. Kanter has a hell of an adjustment to make going from the Hoops Summit or Kentucky practices to the NBA. I have no opinion on the guy, but I would expect him to have a bumpy rookie year. So I would never trade Al or Sap until he'd demonstrated he could actually play.

So we don't want a 20-10 guy who's tougher and longer than the one we had? Makes sense.
