Trey Burke is averaging 17 and 6 on 49% FGs and 53% 3pt during the pre-season. If he can just get 15 and 6 on something like 46% FGs and 40% 3pt, the Jazz will win 40+ games. Take it to the bank.

Wow I didn't realize Trey was shooting so well this preseason.

That season would be like young Steve Nash in Dallas. I'd have to agree.

Am I the only one that has no idea who either of these people are?
Melissa mcarthy is the fat funny woman in alot of comedy movies that have came out recently.

The dead chick is the hot chick from The Big Bang television show. I think

Yea I am done with the losing. I think the rebuild is pretty much complete. Now our draft picks need to step up and perform. It would be great if the Jazz improved to 40 games and got a nice draft pick (some lottery luck). However right now the Jazz have Kanter, Favors, Exum, Hayward, Hood, Burks, Gobert and Burke. That is a nice rotation of players. They need to get these guys use to winning. They can tweak the roster as needed once they see how each player adjust to Quinn's coaching and system.

40 wins and the #11 pick? **** that. Give me 45 wins, the 8 seed, and the 15th pick over that. Give these young guys a taste, albeit brief, of the playoffs so they really know what to expect.

I think you would have a hard time finding anybody to disagree with that!

Forty wins = excellent head coach and improving young players...time to go for it. Also, at what pick did we get RUDY...twenty seventh? Ready to do some winning!

Yeah thats not really an option.

I voted for 40 wins. Utah needs to see some success with their current line up. We have done the work of acquiring young talent thru the draft. Now its time to see if they are worth keeping and how they play together. 40 wins means that our players work together and we can build a team with the players we got. 25 or less simply means we built the team wrong and will need to continue to add players via draft

I just find it interesting that our roster didn't change much, but last year everybody was on the tank.

I think it's a whole different situation, even if the roster isn't as different. It was painfully obvious the FO was setting up for the tank by letting Jefferson, Millsap, Mo, Foye, and Carroll go combined with the Jefferson, Biedrins, and Rush trade.

This off-season hasn't felt that way. No we didn't make a splash in Free Agency, but not letting Gordon go and signing/trading for guys like Booker and Novak seems like we are trying to be better.

Thanks cowhide, this brightened my day and made me smile. EIGHT players with great potential and all in the flush of youth. Does any other team even come close to having a young core like this? My personal wins prediction for the coming season is between 40-50 wins. If this happens the Jazz must be considered a contender in 2016. Every name listed are possible all-star caliber players but that can't really happen, can it. (not a question). I'll take four.

To this point, I have a homework assignment for whomever wants to accept it. Has there been another team in NBA history to start 5 lottery picks who were all drafted within 3 years of each other?

Pretty amazing really..... add in that all of them are under the age of 25. I bet it is unprecedented

Interesting question. Just off the top of my head, the Bucks probably could I think if they started Knight, Antetokounmpo, Parker, Henson, and Sanders?

EDIT: That would be 4 years though cause Sanders was 2010 draft and Parker was 2014 draft

Also, they aren't all lotto picks.
