Exum + pick to Lakers for Russell or Mudiay (whichever is avail when Lakes pick)

Sent from the JazzFanz app

I'd do it. But the Lakers probably wouldn't. Outside of Utah Jazz fans, I don't think anyone values Exum as a lottery pick anymore. He had the biggest bust potential in the draft and thus far he's living up to that. Just imagine how goof this team could be with a legit NBA PG. Part of the reason Hayward had been struggling is there was NO outside threat. Hood returning has helped, but Utah needs more than just a placeholder at PG.

Obligatory big bust photo

Chatted with a couple of Suns fans and they seemed to think Exum/filler could nab us Bledsoe (admittedly not on a great deal), so I'd say some still value him as at least a mid lotto pick.

Of course they could have been wrong as hell, I really know nothing about what the Suns are doing with their lives right now.

lol @ comparisons to Nick Young, WARP stats, etc, in this thread. we were talking about a 19 year old.

Even now, LaVine has shown so many flashes of brilliance (while still having a long way to go - still a bit streaky, doesn't play much D, not much of a passer), it's easy to forget he will play almost this entire season at age 21. Nick Young is having his best season, yet LaVine already has a higher PER than Nick currently has or has ever had in his career. So much for Nick Young being his ceiling. lol
