Looks to me like being Mormon isn't necessary, just abiding by their (BYU's) code of conduct. You're stretching here, Moe.
the list of moral virtues is fine, but I think the way it's worded as following those virtues "encompassed in the gospel of Jesus Christ" might be rather off-putting to those religious students of non-Christian backgrounds.
