Darwiniacs running away from Darwin's explanations of natural selection is like Mormons running away from Joseph Smith's explanations of the godhead.

I agree that would be true for a "Darwiniac". However, as someone who respects science and evidence (aka a skeptic), Darwin's explanations hold no priviledged status for me. They are one more man's thoughts, and are vbaluable only to the degree they comport with reality.

The comical circular logic of natural selection hasn't changed since Darwin.

Any statement concerning reality can be twisted into a tautology, and of course natural selection is not an exception. However, natural selection is fundamentally that differing traits in organisms result in different rates of survival and reproduction. That's not tautological.

They go on and on about how whales have "useless" bear bones inside, but it turns out they actually use those "bear" bones for mating.

That sentence has at least three distinct errors.

It is absurd that this kind of crap is sold to school children as science.

It isn't. Schools don't teach Darwiniacism, they teach science.
