This is the same organization that traded Pau Gasol to pinch pennies and then traded for Zach Randolph who gets similar money. Wonder why I have not been to a game since I moved to Memphis last year, but yes they will sign Henry. I dont think one American players has ever not signed who was drafted in the first round since the rookie pay scale went into effect. Way to go Heisley! Could have had Tyreke Evans!

They just gave MAX to overrated Gay, and are pinching pennies on a rookie deal. Pathetic.

He would be great as he is a great shooter with the possibility a broader game to come, but he falls under a rookie contract so I don't imagine the dispute producing a trade or lasting that long. Or if he has has some issue with memphis because he doesn't like the team or city, he probably will have worse feelings about Utah.

I dont think players problems are with the city itself, Memphis is a great city, a lot of fun and a ton of things to do. I think players just have a problem with the FO and Owners.

Well I do live in Memphis. Memphis has like the 2nd worst crime problem. Beyond Beale Street and Graceland, not really that much to do in Memphis. Dont get me wrong I have liked it here so far, but it is a combination of owners and city that makes Memphis one of the worst destinations in the NBA.
