Still, worried:

As for whether he would be expected to start, Corbin was evasive, even though as of July 1 Burke will be the only point guard on the roster.
"One of the things that everybody will start doing," Corbin said, "they’ll look at our roster and immediately think he will start. ... He has an opportunity to be one of the guys that starts the game for us."
Tinsley may start for the first month or two, just enough time for Burke to get his feet wet. Jazz like to ease in their rookies.

Their team is going to be so awful next year.

Name their best player: Evan Turner? Thaddeus Young?
I think they're definitely counting on having one of the top-3 slots and saving their pick. If so, the trade is no longer lopsided. With the way the lottery is set up, I would have pushed for top-5 protection had I been their GM, just to be safe.

The Hornets gave up their pick, not the Sixers.

You do realize Williams played 29 minutes per game his rookie year, more than any other point guard, right?

You do realize that my comment was about Sloan starting Palacio over WIlliams which is exactly what Sloan did. I never said he didn't play him. Nice try though.

They're going into rebuild mode like the Jazz did when we traded DWill. They'll start with Carter-Williams, Noel and Nola's 2014 first-round pick.

If NOLA's pick doesn't jump into the top 3. I doubt they will be a bottom 5 team, but I don't see them coming that close to making the playoffs either. Their pick is the one they are banking on, which should be the early favorite for the 25% chance at Wiggins.

Sorry if already posted. Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose Job Interview.

I knew that. Temporary brain freeze!
Philly a clear winner. Noel PLUS a decent pick in a stellar draft. No way does NOLA keep that pick unless their number comes up in the lottery. Philly gets Noel, plus is all but assured of a top-5 pick and one a little later in the lottery or just outside of it. J'rue might be good, but is NOLA really capable of making an 18 game improvement in the standings?

Bleacher Report (I know) likes Burke as a major steal in the draft.

"If you forget about his physical profile and focus solely on his body of work, it's not hard to see why Utah made the bold move that it did. Burke could outshine the two players combined that the Jazz parted with to bring him in (UCLA's Shabazz Muhammad and Louisville's Gorgui Dieng) and possibly all of the eight players selected before him."

They have landed..........
