No reason to hire someone just to tank this year, Corbin can do that just fine.

Is this not sleazy? I'm down with the end result, but Corbin would have a legitimate gripe if he was fired for missing the playoffs when he was given a roster with that intention.

And? What's the problem with that? This is pro sports. He should be gone already. Setting him up for failure is just a part of the game.

That article is old and outdated. Most of the points made by the writer were shown to be wrong. Ty had his chance now which is what he wanted. I'd be curious if this author still believes Corbin deserves to be kept.

I'm surprised at the results. I would have thought people would want Corbin gone, due to how bad he is, for example, if the big 3 blow up and we end up with the ninth seed in the West instead of the 6th or 7th in the playoffs.

I guess people really think keeping Corbin will get us Wiggins. I now feel a little bad for him. He is going to have a rough year next year.

OR...the Jazz could've been prudent and placed the interim tag on Corbin after Sloan stepped down and used the rest of the season to explore their options and do their due diligence. But instead this franchise gives him a two year contract off the bat...smh
