Begrudgingly agree with Avery. I hated the pick when it happened. But I can see how it makes good sense for the team. Moving up was obviously not going to happen; we've heard what Boston offered. And if DL and QS felt Lyles was in a higher tier than what the could have received by moving down, then staying at #12 was a good decision.

Bigs aren't cheap in FA, but maybe Pleiss comes over and fills a role. And yes, I know Favors is the backup to Gobert. I just wanted to see him relieved of that role (which he dislikes) so he could focus 100% on being a PF.

I'm still meh on the pick, but I really can't say that there's anyone I'm really pissed about passing on. I really hope Justice Winslow doesn't become the steal of the draft, otherwise I will have to hound the guys who were so adamant about not sitting Hayward and Favors down the stretch of the season, which we obviously did anyway, just not quite enough.
