When the Jazz drafted Burks, I was as high on him as any one on Jazzfanz. I even made a thread prophesying that Burks would be the Rookie of the year. Since that time, my feelings on Burks have Shifted. I still like him and believe he has great potential, but I am much more apprehensive about stating who he is as a player. Too be honest, I am not yet sold on Burks as a SG which is interesting because I never thought he would play the 1 very well. Right now, he plays the one better than the 2. Essentially, I might be okay if we traded Burks for the draft pick that got us Marcus Smart-- dude is Chancey Billups 2.0 and a great leader for a freshman (we always talk about our group of guys equaling the Pistons of '04 anyway). If that Pick got us Oladipo, I might be okay with it too. It's just hard to figure out Burks right now. I think Ale[x] could end making a big jump next season with more minutes, a greater role, and being more mature, or he could also dissappoint... let's hope it is the former.

We have our starting SG, and his name is Hayward, not Burks.

If Burks can be put in a package for an elite player, I'd trade him in a heartbeat.

At this point, the only player that is hands off is Kanter. Everyone else can be had...for the right price. If I trade Favors or Hayward, I am getting a superstar back.
