Are they mutually exclusive? Trey is the backup Pg...for now. Batum won't be taking any of his minutes. I'd see Batum and Hood coming off the bench behind Hayward and Burks. Or Hood could start and have Burks off the bench. The real question is would I rather have Batum or Ingles/Millsap be the 4th wing. TBH, I'd prefer Danny Green since I think there is no chance of getting DMC.
 
I don't think Porty does this unless LMA leaves and they have no good backup plan and decide to blow it up and build around Dame. I'd take a chance on him if we didn't get a wing in the draft and if it cost us the OKC pick and another small asset.... like Pliess if we drafted a big.

Supposedly he has had a wrist injury... certainly would hurt your shooting. Also going through some stuff in a divorce. Maybe he just sucks now. Again I'd take a chance on him especially in a contract year.
 
A bad divorce can mess a man up in a major way. If this is at the core of the problem I think it sounds like a terrific buy low opportunity.

I do think the divorce happened a year or two ago, but there was still some drama surrounding it... like unpaid alimony or something like that.

Did they have children? Even if he's completely okay with all of the money it has cost him, there's a good chance that losing his traditional role in his kids life has been hard. I've been through it. It sucks worse than someone who hasn't experienced it could ever imagine.

Yeah it happend a while ago but his ex-wife took him to court over some BS about payments.

Who would have guessed? A money sniffing scumbag attorney is at the heart of this mess. He needed to put Batum under pressure to get what he wanted so he filed documents, and the facts didn't really matter. What a shocker.
 
Hi everybody! I'm the new guy. I've been lurking for years yada yada yada and finally decided to join in on the fun. If we're trading our pick I'd rather trade it to improve our offense or maybe a vet PG to split time with Burke. idk
