I have not seen this kid play but everything I have read about him says he is a real player. Anyone got a scouting report on him that I can get. Thanks and Cheers. How bout the Jazz ballin without that bum Kanter.

Is this just an attempt to make this thread is Jazz relevant?
 
He's a great player at the college level but I have a few questions about him at the pro level.

Biggest issue is he's not a great shooter. Not horrible, and seems to be improving, but certainly not a guy you want shooting a bunch of threes.

Handle is a little loose at times.

Not a super explosive athlete and pretty skinny. Makes me wonder what position he guards, even though I would say overall he is a good defender at the college level. In addition, lack of super elite athleticism, inability to shoot, and mediocre handle makes me worry about his offense too.

A lot of upside if he continues to improve, but a risky pick in some ways.
 
Who is a better player at college level Wright or the Haws kid from BYU? Going to Vegas so need to know about these Utah teams before March.lol

Wright will play in the NBA and is a first round draft pick.

The BYU kid will play overseas and won't sniff the NBA.

At the college level? Haws. He is the all time leading scorer at byu (probably at utah too, though I don't know)

This is kinda true too (though I think
Haws has a chance at the nba)
 
wright is pretty well rounded, not elite at anything, but solid at just about everything outside of long range shooting. smart, plays under control. is the leader of a great defensive utes team. Tall for a pg, but not overly quick or strong. he's shooting in the mid 50s overall, that's pretty cool to see in a pg. I like him, and would be surprised if he didnt go in the mid to late 1st round.

His stats are quite impressive
 
I tried to find his highlights against ASU this week. He had a block ran the floor saved the ball and got the assist. The sequence blew my sox off. I couldn't find it. So Delon vs Kansas

Thanks everyone. Can I get a report on the Haws kid from BYU since the Wright one was so nice. Love the comparsion to Larry Hughes that video reminded me of him too
