Okay, official thread scheduled for Monday.

So far date is the 11th of April with a start time of 3:30pm

Buy-in will be $20 No rebuys or add-ons. I plan to offer an optional $10 bounty

If you feel like you'd make a reasonably good dealer and would be willing to deal the second table please let me know. I can try to offer perks, like driveway parking (woohoo) and maybe something else, but no direct compensation or advantage in the game.

I expect to have some homebrews on tap but can't make any guarantees. As always, the beer is free of charge, but I also encourage you to bring some of your own beverages and encourage you to share. That said, please drink responsibly or have a plan for getting home that doesn't involve driving drunk.

I will try to arrange the blinds so that the game ends around the time the Jazz game starts, at 8pm.

Anyone interested in showing up to watch the Jazz game are welcome.

Seriously, anybody who wants to show up and get ****faced, I will drive you home (within reason. I ain't driving your drunk *** home to Utah County). Unless you live in the southern part of Davis County (or between here and Gameface's house), you're on your own for getting there.

No one stood a chance at my table without a second buy in.

But sure... lets do this, and then watch us some game.

If people are down for a rebuy game I'm cool with that. It's hard balancing for people who aren't there to risk/win a lot of money and those who might prefer a little more "action" but a rebuy game is nice because no one shows up and is out of the game after 5min.

Would love to hear people's thoughts. One caveat is that if we did go with a rebuy I'd probably want to start a little sooner to make sure we're done before the Jazz game starts. Harder to predict the running time of a rebuy tourney.
 
BigB, Huge thanks for offering to deal! And double huge thanks for offering to give people rides. I always feel a little guilty because I don't have to go anywhere after the game is over so if I want to drink I don't have to worry about it...but I absolutely don't want to encourage or enable anyone's drinking and driving.

Trout, you don't know how pumped I am that you're in. I don't think you've ever missed a single Jazzfanz poker game at my place. Also, appreciate your offer to give people a ride.

Now we just have to find out where Bronco70 is...
